When we founded VOTESart in 2018, we felt that so many of our colleagues wanted to contribute to civic life in this country, but didn’t know how. Our goal is to connect music and musicians with civic engagement across the country, with a focus on increasing voter registration and voter participation.”

We are a non-partisan organization with two main goals:
Increase voter registration and voter participation across the country
Create opportunities and resources for musicians to be civically engaged with their local communities.

VOTESart’s Future
As we continue to expand our online resources for musicians, ensembles, and partner organizations, we aim to create VOTESart events in all fifty states. We are working towards becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and to increase our budget to help cover administrative and performance costs.
