Voter registration pop-up events

In 2019, VOTESart released the first “Online Toolbox” resource: a guide for musicians and ensembles to create their own VOTESart voter registration pop-up events.

This PDF guide takes musicians step-by-step through the process of researching voter registration information, contacting partner community venues, and navigating the logistics of creating their own voter registration event.

The steps outlined in this guide are tried-and-true methods based on organizing dozens of VOTESart pop-up events in states across the country.

educational workshop content

VOTESart collaborates with musicians and ensembles by offering consultation on student workshop and outreach program content.

Musicians and ensembles can consider adapting a script template from previous VOTESart workshops, or using add-on activities in their existing programs. These add-ons include interactive activities and discussion guidelines focused on creative civic engagement.

For more information about educational workshop content, please contact us.
